JS-A11 is a new halogen-free ionic liquid flame retardant, designed for acrylic adhesives. It can be used in various acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives and structural adhesives. When used together with DOPO, JS-A11 can get UL 94-VTM-0. Meanwhile the hand feel tackiness of the adhesive is not affected.
Ionic Liquid Drying: 90°C, 4 hours.
Mixing: Put the JS-A11 and DOPO directly into the adhesive, stir evenly, then add the curing agent, and continue stirring for 3 minutes. Stand still till no air bubbles can be seen. Coat the adhesive on the flame retardant PET film . Cure the adhesive to obtain a uniform adhesive layer.
