PC Retardant Masterbatch MB-PC20C
Inovia MB-PC20C is an efficient flame-retardant masterbatch for PC. The concentration of flame retardant DR-M878 is 20%. Adding 7.5-10%, the product can achieve UL94 V0 at 0.25-1.6mm. This product can improve flowability, and can be used for film, sheet, and thin-walled injection mold without adding anti-drip (PTFE).
1. Materials
- PC: Covestro PC 2805
- Flame retardant: Inovia MB-PC20C (containing 20% DR-M878)
2. Processing
- Drying condition: 120℃, 4 hours
- Blending: Use a high-speed mixer to blend DR-M878 with PC resin, and control the inner temperature of the mixer below 95℃
- Extrusion temperature: 250~260℃
- Casting temperature: 260~275℃, roller temperature: 140℃
- Sheet thickness: 0.5 mm
