PET Film Flame Retardant ER-F5100/Masterbatch MB-PT110
ER-F5100 (or its masterbatch MB-PT110 with 10% ER-F5100) is a novel halogen-free flame retardant developed for PET film. With just a 1.5% dosage, it can achieve UL94 VTM-0 at 0.050 mm thickness, while other flame retardants would require 25% or more. This significant reduction of dosage leads to great material cost saving. Also the yield of the PET film is close to, if not, 100%. Additionally, the transparency and the stretching ratio of the FR PET film are comparable to those the blank PET film.
1. Materials:
- PET: ZhiXiang ZX101
- Flame retardant:Inovia ER-F5100
2. Processing condition:
- Drying:140℃*4hrs
- Extrusion temperature:240~265℃
- Casting temperature: 260~270℃;mold temperature: 30℃
- Biaxial stretching temperature is 100~110℃
