PC Retardant Masterbatch DR-S15/MB-PC10C

Inovia DR-S15 (masterbatch MB-PC10C) is a novel flame retardant designed for polycarbonate(PC), especially for thin PC products. It doesn't contain halogen, nor needs PTFE anti-dripping agent to reach UL V0. It is the first case in the world that, PC can get UL94-V0 at a thickness from 0.1 to 1.6mm, with maintained optical properties of PC product.

1. Materials

Base polymer: Covestro PC 2805
Flame retardant masterbatch: Inovia MB-PC10C (containing 10% DR-S15)

2. Processing

Drying: 120 ℃, 4 hours
Extrusion temperature: 240~250℃
Injection/casting temperature: 245~255 ℃
