F-S3500 is a flowing agent specially developed for polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The flowability of PBT is improved by about 33% at a dosage level of 1wt% of F-S3500. Meanwhile, the thermal and mechanical properties are not affected obviously.

1. Materials

PBT: BASF ULTRADUR B4500

Flowing agent: Inovia F-S3500

2. Processing

2.1 Drying: 120℃, 3~5h.

2.2 Extrusion temperature: 195/235/240/235/235/230/230/230/235/240℃

2.3 Injection temperature: 235~245℃; mold temperature: 60℃

Note: "PBT" in the diagram refers to PBT pure resin after extruding.
