CR-M1631is a blooming free retardant developed for glass fiber reinforced PA6. This product can be sold as powder or as masterbatch. It has great retarding efficiency,and the dosage level required to achieve the same UL V0 ratings is10-20% lower than those of Clariant products. What’s more, the flowing behavior and mechanical properties of the retarding resin is improved, compared to resins with Clariant retardants.
1. Materials
PA6: Juheshun PA6-J2700
Retardant:CR-M1631(A masterbatch form CR-M1631B is used in this testing.)
Glass fiber:megalith EDR14-2000-988A(30%)
2. Processing
2.1 Drying: 90 ℃, 4~6 h.
2.2 Extrusion temperature: 220~250 ℃
2.3 Injection temperature: 230~250 ℃; mold temperature: 80 ℃

4.Summary
CR-M1631 has outstanding blooming stability,can be stable up to 3000hrs under double 85 testing conditions。It also has superior retarding efficiency, and the dosage level required is lower, and in return the application cost is lower. What’s more, the flowing behavior and mechanical properties of the resins treated with CR-M1631 are notably improved, compared to the resin with Clariant products.
